Having watched the forecast all day I headed to beach about 5.15 , rigged 6.6 on the kona 11'5 and went out . As forecast the wind picked up within 20 minutes to being well powered up and enjoying some flat out blasting on the longboard . even managed a few gybes where i plained out !!!
In the end , after about an hour or so , I came in to change down . Rigged 5.7 and put it on 10'5 , although should have rigged 5.3 on wave board !!! Absolutely blown off water on 5.7 , so had a couple of runs and packed up . More tomorrow and weekend so not bad at all
